for two days now i’m having troubles with my internet connection, maybe because of the snow. so hopefully you can read this as i’m typing it into some tiny handheld device thing.
just a quick update on what’s going on: the rpm-album is almost done, i’ll send it off this week – hoping it will arrive in time for i have no idea how long shipping takes to the us of a. once it’s on its way i’ll announce it here so you can all be my witnesses that it was finished long before the deadline. at this moment i don’t know what the cover will look like but there will be a cover, no booklet though. i’m figuring out a way to make the album downloadable on this site. i’d like to offer a pay-what-you-want-solution but i don’t know how to do this. any suggestions? (no idea if this link embedding works)
and i’m looking around for a new site-design, the old theme seems to be kind of obsolete, i’m experiencing problems on a quite regular basis…

Try using http://drop.io/ It is an online file sharing service which allows you, among other things, to set up a pay-per-download service. I haven’t done much with it myself but it might be worth checking it out. Look for the paywall service which allows you to charge people for access to your drop.
yay, thanks Joe. that was faster than lightning :-) i’m gonna check it out as soon as i get a connection with the computer again. although it seems i can do some blogging stuff with this pocketweb-thingy i’m using at the moment – real surfing with it is quite a pain in the behindypart… cheers.
There’s a pay-pal-donation plugin for wordpress. haven’t tested it yet, but for anyone w/ a paypal-account that would be a smooth way of purchasing/ donating for your moosic right here on the site.
thanks a lot! i had a shopping-cart-plugin but for some reason it’s gone (from the plugin-download-library as well…). i will check out the donation plugin, right now i’m making the songs of the rpm-album available for free. but if someone wants to buy me a drink (or a bungalow) then she/he should have the option ;-)
